Description

The LALIZAS Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus 713271 is a SOLAS/MED-approved, open-circuit positive-pressure SCBA supplied without a compressed-air cylinder. It is designed to provide respiratory protection during firefighting, emergency response and entry into hazardous atmospheres aboard commercial vessels.

The positive-pressure system helps prevent smoke and contaminated air from entering the full-face mask. An anatomically designed composite backplate and adjustable harness provide secure support and allow the apparatus to be donned quickly.

The backplate and harness are flame-retardant, waterproof and antistatic. A pressure regulator with an integrated manometer allows the user to monitor the available air pressure, while a high-intensity warning whistle sounds when the cylinder pressure falls to approximately 50–60 bar.

This version is supplied without a compressed-air cylinder, allowing the operator to select a suitable 300-bar cylinder that complies with national regulations and has a European-standard G 5/8″ cylinder valve.

Cylinder Requirements

The SCBA accepts a range of compatible 300-bar breathing-air cylinders. The selected cylinder must:

• Be designed and manufactured in accordance with applicable national regulations
• Be approved for use with breathing apparatus
• Have a compatible European-standard G 5/8″ cylinder valve
• Contain breathing-quality compressed air
• Provide the required minimum volume and operating duration
• Be inspected and maintained within its permitted service intervals

Compatibility must be confirmed before the apparatus is placed into service.

Important Safety Information
