Description

The LALIZAS ESCAPE-15 Emergency Evacuation Breathing Device with carbon composite cylinder is designed to provide personnel with a reliable supply of breathable air during emergency escape from smoke-filled or hazardous compartments aboard a vessel.

The lightweight carbon composite cylinder reduces the total weight of the complete unit to approximately 4.5 kg. This makes the EEBD easier to carry during an emergency and approximately 1.65 kg lighter than the ESCAPE-15 version fitted with a steel cylinder.

The open-circuit compressed-air system provides a rated operating duration of 15 minutes, allowing the wearer time to reach a safe area. The device is activated with a single movement and is supplied in a compact carrying bag with an adjustable shoulder strap for rapid access.

The universal full-face hood is suitable for different face shapes and incorporates a durable, elastic and non-irritating neoprene neck seal. The flame-resistant construction, clearly visible pressure gauge and simple activation system make the device suitable for installation in designated emergency locations aboard commercial and passenger vessels.

The cylinder is fitted with a European-standard G 5/8″ charging connection and can be refilled without requiring a special adaptor.
