Description
The LALIZAS Replacement Hood 02039 is an original spare component designed for the EEBD L15 / ESCAPE-15 Emergency Evacuation Breathing Device. This version includes the protective hood only and is supplied without the breathing hose.
The universal full-face design covers the wearer’s head, eyes, nose and mouth. Its wide, flexible visor provides good forward and peripheral visibility, while the integrated oronasal mask directs the supplied breathing air to the wearer.
A durable, elastic neoprene neck seal helps reduce the entry of smoke and contaminated air. The high-visibility, flame-resistant construction is designed for emergency evacuation from smoke-filled or hazardous compartments aboard commercial vessels.
This replacement hood is intended for servicing or repairing an existing EEBD when the original hood has been damaged, contaminated, worn or rejected during inspection.

Installation, connection and functional testing must be performed by trained or authorised personnel. After replacement, the complete EEBD must be inspected and tested in accordance with the manufacturer’s servicing instructions and applicable maritime safety requirements.
The EEBD is intended for emergency escape only. It must not be used for firefighting, entering oxygen-deficient spaces or rescue operations requiring entry into a hazardous compartment.
