The Lofrans 10 mm calibrated anchor chain is manufactured from Grade 40 steel in accordance with the DIN 766 standard. It is designed for use with compatible anchor windlasses installed on sailing yachts, motor yachts and other marine vessels.

Hot-dip galvanizing provides durable protection against corrosion and makes the chain suitable for demanding marine environments. Calibrated link dimensions ensure smooth and reliable engagement with the correct windlass gypsy.

Technical Specifications

DIN 766 and ISO 4565 chains have different link dimensions and are not interchangeable, even when both chains have the same nominal diameter.

Before ordering, check the standard marked on your windlass gypsy or carefully measure the existing chain links. Using an incompatible chain can cause the chain to jump, jam or damage the gypsy.

Ordering the Required Length

This anchor chain is sold by the metre. Enter the required number of metres in the quantity field.

For example, to order 50 metres of chain, select a quantity of 50. The chain will be supplied as one continuous length whenever stock availability permits.
