Description

The LALIZAS Hood and Breathing Hose Assembly 01614 is an original replacement component designed for the EEBD L15 / ESCAPE-15 Emergency Evacuation Breathing Device.

The assembly consists of a universal protective hood and connected breathing hose. When correctly connected to a complete and functional EEBD system, the hose delivers breathable air from the regulator to the hood during emergency evacuation.

The full-face hood covers the wearer’s head, eyes, nose and mouth. Its universal design is suitable for different face shapes and head sizes, while the elastic neoprene neck seal helps reduce the entry of smoke and contaminated air.

The wide, flexible visor provides good forward and peripheral visibility. Flame-resistant, high-visibility materials make the hood suitable for emergency escape from smoke-filled or hazardous compartments aboard commercial vessels.

The EEBD is intended for emergency escape only. It must not be used for firefighting, entering oxygen-deficient spaces or rescue operations requiring entry into a hazardous compartment.
